AR Rohingya: Bring the world to your table
Using the latest technology in 3D animation, 3D photogrammatry and 3D video recording, we will create the world's first augmented reality project depicting life in a refugee camp. The goal is to capture fragments of reality in a refugee camp and bring it into the classroom so that school students - and other socially interested citizens - can have a realistic interactive experience like never before.
Based on the UN's Global Goals on climate action (13), sustainable energy (7), quality education (4) less inequality (10) and peace, justice and strong institutions (16), in our teaching material we will give students a picture of life in the world's largest refugee camp and let them interact with the people living there.
The project is funded by DANIDA, Danish Ministry of Education and Danish Red Cross.
By using drones and photogrammetry technology we can create 3D models of landscapes made out of real photos. Above is a Danish farm in 3D.
We are working with volumetric video capturing which means we can film real life action in 3D. This can be used for 3D hologram in AR experiences.
